Midway point between Kingston and Montego Bay and a focal point for much of the citrus produce of the colony.
The large number of carriages and carts suggests a high level of commercial activity.

The property is totally abandoned and the track is becoming overgrown with vegetation.
All other structures at this station were destroyed by hurricane Gilbert in 1988.
